About

Here more about me!
I’m a motivated and curious individual that enjoys being part of new creations and ideas. I’m interested in visual arts and find it wonderful connecting dance with it. Having the opportunity to exchange knowledge, learn from other artists and find out more about myself as a dancer and individual, makes me thrive. I always get inspired by other people around me. Constantly researching and getting to know more sides of me is a beautiful process as I continue to grow as an artist.
I started dancing when I was 4 years old in a small dance school in my hometown. After the first ballet class, I immediately fell in love with moving. „I feel like a butterfly“, I said to my mother as I stepped outside of the studio. When I was 12 years old, I realized, I wanted to make this my profession. So, I auditioned for Tanzakademie Zürich in 2016 and had the opportunity to start my professional training there. I completed the „Einführungsklasse“ and „Grundstudium“ and established a solid foundation in classical ballet.
In 2020 I began my training and apprenticeship at Ballettschule Theater Basel where I later on received my EFZ Diploma as a stage dancer. I performed ballet, neo-classical and contemporary works. Big Ballet productions like „The Nutcracker“, I as well performed during my training in Basel which belongs to one of my highlights during my apprenticeship.
In 2023 I made the decision to deepen and expand my knowledge on contemporary dance. I started my Bachelor for Contemporary Dance at Zürich University of the Arts and I am at the moment in my second year of study. On my current path of becoming a professional dancer, I had the opportunity to work with several renowned swiss based and international choreographers for example: Nadav Zelner, Caroline Finn, Felipe Portugal, Lida Doumouliaka, Antonio Ruz, Phoebe Jewitt, Craig Davidson, Jorge Garcia Pérez, Richard Wherlock etc. Having the chance to work with different choreographers, is very inspiring and rewarding as I get the chance, to explore different movement qualities and deepen my knowledge which is one of the most exciting aspects of being a dancer, I believe.
I am excited about what the future holds for me and see, how I continue to develop as an artist!
